Ewa Szumowska
Principal Investigator
Researcher at the Institute of Psychology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and fellow researcher at the University of Maryland.
Her research interests focus on motivation and motivated cognition. She also explores multitasking, goal achievement, and extremism. Recently, her interests have also included responses to extreme and crisis situations.
Małgorzata Kossowska
Leader of the Behavior in Crisis Lab
Head of the Department of Social Psychology and the Center for Research on Social Cognition at the Institute of Psychology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
Her research interests include the cognitive and motivational foundations of complex social phenomena, knowledge resistance, cognitive rigidity, and their relationship to social problem-solving and sociopolitical decision-making.
Giovanni Telesca
Postdoctoral Researcher
Researcher at the Institute of Psychology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
His research interests include political participation, political radicalization and polarization, as well as activism, volunteering, and civic engagement.
